SATURDAY ART JAMS are one facet of the CREATIVE PLACEMAKING project, led by New London Landmarks, in coordination with the City of New London and a coalition of advocates for Riverside Park and the East New London neighborhood. The 2012 project was funded by the Connecticut Department of Economic and Community Development (DECD) and the Office of the Arts.
New London Artists Derron Wood, L’Ana Burton, Elizabeth Tyler, Mark Patnode and Roger Tremblay have come together to inspire family fun days in the park, with special themes and arts activities for all ages, each Saturday from July 14 through August 18.
